Internship in Network Management (Limited to 6 months, 80-100%, all genders)

Tasks

As part of our Network Management team, you will support strategic planning activities, contribute to cross-functional projects, and gain valuable experience in airline network development within the Lufthansa Group. 

• Support of various projects in network and fleet planning,
• Network-related coordination amongst Lufthansa Group hub airlines and with other departments within SWISS,
• Following familiarization phase, takeover of own, independent sub-projects,
• Creation of quantitative ad-hoc analyses, network key performance indicators (KPIs) and market reports,
• Active participation in various monthly review meetings (route profitability, fleet wet lease, etc.). 

Requirements

We're looking for an analytical and curious team player with a genuine enthusiasm for aviation. If you enjoy working with data, solving complex problems and contributing to strategic decisions, you'll thrive in this international environment. 

• HF diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s students or graduates in aviation, economics or business administration (HF diploma & Bachelor’s students must have completed at least three semesters),
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and structural thinking skills,
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with the initiative to drive projects forward,
• Proven interest and enthusiasm for the aviation industry,
• Excellent English: additional languages are a plus (e.g.: German),
• Very good MS Office skills with focus on Excel, PowerPoint; additional IT skills are welcome (e.g.: Power BI).
