Reporting to the Head of Procurement Data & Performance — who serves as the global data steward for procurement data and owns all relevant purchasing data — this role supports the design, management, and implementation of data standards underpinning the new procurement platform across EMEA. Contribute to the ramp-up of a global Source-to-Pay transformation, maintaining alignment with regulatory and risk frameworks and working closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, TPRM, Outsourcing, Legal, and IT. This is a supporting role focused on designing and translating the data steward’s standards into consistent, well-governed practices across the end-to-end lifecycle of purchasing data, including collection, enforcement, and reporting. This is not an operational data-entry position. YOUR CHALLENGE Support the Head of Procurement Data & Performance in defining, managing, and implementing end-to-end standards for purchasing data collection, enforcement, and reporting Contribute to the definition and application of master data structures, standards, and governance within SAP S/4HANA, particularly for Business Partner records covering both suppliers and customers Aid in data collection standardisation along supplier, engagement and commercial data aggregation Safeguard data quality across key data objects along the procurement lifecycle, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, contract schedules, standing payments, and associated conditions Help embed data ownership, stewardship rules, and quality controls across systems feeding procurement processes Contribute to the planning, implementation, and ongoing operation of addressable spend reporting YOUR PROFILE Degree or proven hands-on experience in information management, data science, business informatics, supply chain, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience Proven experience in procurement data management, with a strong track record in defining, applying, and enforcing data standards and quality controls Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and / or SAP Ariba, with a solid understanding of underlying data structures, master data, and commercial object configuration beyond the front-end interface Strong understanding of how data is modelled, stored, and integrated across interconnected systems Ability to operate effectively within defined standards set by the data owner and translate them into consistent, reliable execution Experience managing data collection and metadata within onboarding or questionnaire-driven tools Demonstrable experience implementing data standards, governance frameworks, and quality controls Exposure to spend reporting and analytics, including planning and operational support Familiarity with procurement master data in financial services or other regulated environments Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI etc. Driven and proactive, demonstrating initiative and ownership Hands-on and adaptable, comfortable operating in a fast-paced transformation environment Curious and quick to learn new tools, systems, and ways of working Collaborative, with a strong focus on contributing to team impact and outcomes Relevant SAP or data management certifications (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, DAMA/CDMP, or similar) are advantageous Fluency in English is required, German would be preferred This is a back-end data role and is not suited to candidates whose SAP experience is limited to front-end usage.
