Let’s shape the future of wealth management together. Responsible for all Lombard risk aspects of a portfolio of domestic and international private banking clients. Assess, analyse, structure, approve, implement and monitor Lombard credit requests / transactions. Provide credit advisory service to internal clients and work hand-in-hand with RMs /first line of defense to customise appropriate solutions to the end clients. YOUR CHALLENGE Analysis and assessment of collateral and exposure (e.g. derivatives) including detection of concentration risks Assessment of borrower, collateral provider with regards to structural, legal, compliance and reputational risks Determination of risk rating for a credit facility Preparation and approval of credit limits within the delegated credit approval authority (depending on risk rating and amount) Application of special lending values and margin terms on client specific level Ongoing monitoring of credit exposure; resolving of collateral shortfalls and limit excesses, including issuance of margin calls Regular review of approved limits Administration duties, e.g. fixed term loans approval, payment and securities releases and proper credit documentation Deputize other Credit Officers in their absence Support relationship managers and other stakeholders in all credit related matters, establish regular and proactive contact as well as providing ongoing credit training Contribution in credit related projects and process improvements Work with legal to draft non-standard documents related to credit transactions Preparation and performing of training session for Credit Officer and Relationship Manager YOUR PROFILE University Bachelor degree or completed studies at a university of applied sciences (economics, banking, finance, law), or equivalent education or professional experience Several years of professional experience in the credit sector (in particular Lombard credit) is an advantage Solid technical knowledge regarding the handling of life insurance policies (wrappers, ULIPs) is a plus Interest in the functioning of financial markets and financial institutions Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent analytical skills Independent, reliable, and team-oriented personality Solution oriented with problem solving and negotiating skills Strong analytical skills, developed awareness in legal, tax and reputational issues Personality with good organizational and operational skills and ability to work under high pressure Sense of integrity and discretion Excellent communication and solid presentation skills Perseverance and persistence Excellent German and English language skills (written and spoken), any additional languages are an advantage We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
